While the majority of entrepreneurs do not communicate, those that do keep their investors informed of their business are consistently more successful – a 2016 study by the Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs at the University of Texas reports 83% of startup investors and advisors feel companies that communicate are better performers.
Without standardized, consistent information, investors are left to “pick winners”, resulting in mediocre returns.
